Hi Christopher. I noticed there hasn't been an update on starblood in quite some time. Are you guys giving up the site?

fair enough - carl's page was around - my mistake. it was a long time ago. old(er) age and memory are not a good mix. its hard to believe its creeping up on 10 years since then.

also, no plan to give up the site. the three of us doing the site (scott, jessie, and i) have been doing other things. its more of an archive now. that could change - its just dependant upon what's going on.

hello all.

I'm Tiffany, but call me ruth as much as possible here.
I discovered the cranes by Flute Song on the 12 Tales album i found in Hot Topic (don't get me wrong, you'll never see me in there, i hate it). I bought Future Songs, then Wings of Joy and lost it, i have yet to rebuy it. I had no idea the cranes have been around so long. I'm only now learning more about them.
I am 21.
I'm single (by choice, it's not easy either) but i like the freedom, and i'd be a bitch or not myself to any guy i know as of now.
I HATE New York. I live in it, too.
I love California. I'm moving there soon. It's my homeground.
I'm a horse wrangler by talent and a receptionist by profession. I sing and rock on guitar or whatever i feel like.

I never really considered Cranes gothic. But i suppose it fits them ok if you have to chose a genre.
nice to meet y'all.

i listened to some of the mp3's on this sites audio page to see what i have been missing for the last 15 years or so!

anyway i was so impressed ive now bought virtually all the albums!

hey there

hans
rotterdam, the netherlands

a fan since a friend taped self-non-self early 1990. seen the cranes live about 15 times during the early 90s, have everything they released, talked to them once (utrecht) (not much of a groupie), gave them a bottle of wine during dinner (tilburg), still concider them as my dear friends for all the pleasure they gave me through the years.
very pleased by the download release of paradiso (was there too), hope they will release more mp3 goodies.

cheers and kisses

Hi !

I'm 29, live in Montreal. I first heard about cranes by a newspaper critics (which I'll always keep) about live performance at Club Soda, aroud 1995, for the Loved tour. At this time I was living in a small rural place, and could not find anything from them. I first found Loved cd in Montreal in 2002, when I arrived in Montreal. Since then, I have all the majors cd and LP's and some singles. I just need to find the Fuse cassette to complete my Cranes collection. I hope they will come in America someday.
