Whilst we wait for the next phase of Cranes Music, which hopefully won't be too long (it IS coming), Cranes member Paul Smith and Jon Callender have played roles in a great project called 'Peach and the New Beats'.

If you get a chance, check them out at:

www.peachandthenewbeats.co.uk

They have a record out (on pre-order now). As always, let us know what you think. Perfect for these summer days.

Many thanks for your time and attention.

Hi HAns. Thank you my friend. We got the records delivered yesterday. Just need to do a quick spot check that everything is ok with the disc and artwork etc and it'll (hopefully) be live by Sunday evening.

Hope you're well

Paul

Hi Hans,

Your record should be with you very soon. We had a slight issue with the packaging of the CD's as the company accidentally put the back insert for the tray in upside down and we had them shrink wrapped. So they had to go back for re-packaging. It was posted on Wednesday as the company were really quick with their turnaround.

As always, let us know what you think of the record and many, many thanks for your continual support.

Paul

The cd arrived a few days ago in perfect condition.
I haven't had the time to give it a proper listen yet, because my little sister, who is seriously ill, was staying with me for the last week.

Will let you know soon what I think of it.

Thank you for the music!

Glad the CD turned up safely but very sorry to hear about your sister. Hope things get better for her very very soon.

Take it easy Hans,

Hi Paul

Thanks for your sweet words.
I also hope that things will get better for my sister, but she has the terrible 'C' (or 'K' in Dutch)

Let's all keep the positive spirits up and send them in her direction.

Hi Hans,

I have personal experience of this via both my parents and we have ongoing experience of this in our Peach band so we all send positive thoughts to your sister. May I ask how old your sister is?

If there is anything she would like be it my music, Cranes music or Peach music please let us know and we'll try to sort it out.

Take care Hans,

Paul

Hi Paul and all

Sorry for the late reply, but there's been a lot going on here.
Of course I have been very busy with my sister, who is 48. She's had testing scans last week to see if the treatment is working. Tomorrow we get the results.
My mother in law has been taken to hospital where she was kept in IC for a week. And to top it all off, I was told that I'm being made redundant at work after 13 years....

Oh well, He Ho Confused

I want to congratulate you and the band on a really great album
I love the 50's nightclubby like atmosphere. The jazzy, bluesy feel with the sometimes distorted vocals are a perfect combination.

Congratulations xxx

I forgot to write how I really really love the early 70's Fleetwood Mac-ish guitar sound. So spacious and relaxing. Brilliant stuff!!!!

Many thanks Paul for keeping the flame alive here on the fan forum.

Havent heard yet the Peach project. Have to check it out.

Sorry to hear about all your trouble, Hans. After all these years, even if I dont know you for real, I feel like we are part of the same Cranes family. In thoughts with you and your sister.
